DON’T COMPARE THE WRONG GUY

As we approach the end of the year, it’s time for many of us to compare, examine and rate our level of performance throughout the year.

The challenge I have with this exercise is not the comparison really, but, comparing the wrong guy! Who’s the wrong guy?

Soon enough many routes would become more busier than they have been since the year as many would be touching down hometowns. It will be a season of flaunting; monies, wears, houses, cars, achievements will be flaunted by many so as to be marked as successful folks.

Never compare yourself to any of these guys. You can’t achieve everything I’ve achieved and I can’t achieve everything you’ve achieved this year too.

I might be financially richer than you but you might be intellectually richer than me too and same rounds other aspects of life. Comparing your year with another person’s would mean comparing with the wrong guy.

The right guy to compare is yourself! Compare this ending to the beginning, middle. You will see how successful you are.

Comparing with another would make you feel insecure and sometimes inferior. Check your timeline, you’re doing well. Think of bad decisions you overcame, wrong actions you refused to take, temptations you overcame, your new clothes, shoes, your faith in Christ Jesus, your academics and all, you’re doing very great.

Don’t you ever compare the wrong guy! It will help your sanity!

Parenting Should Be Studied Before Embracing It - Ibe Samuel Onyedikachi

While in a conversation with a friend sometime ago, I recommended a certain book on parenting to her and she told me she wasn't a mother yet. I took it to be fun but she made her stand clear. Then my mind pondered over her response. Do lawyers become lawyers before studying law? Or doctors become doctors before studying medicine and surgery? Even an apprentice remains an apprentice until they are verified by their masters. How then is parenting treated differently? This is one the reasons we really some halfbaked parents/parenting in the society. Many think they need to become parents before getting to know parenting ' know-hows .' Come to think that family is the smallest unit and making ground of the society yet we underestimate the need for proper preparation for such very sensitive role makes it scary. Whatever next phase you intend to jump into needs to be studied and prepared for, else you'll more definitely fail and excel through it. Parenting is ...

GRACE?

Most of the things you call "GRACE!" are products and results of hardwork! Lying down lazily everyday hoping for your own GRACE is waste of time! I remember a popular Aba preacher telling us a story of how he got 500k after praying for grace. People screamed in awe. But during the cost of his later stories, he slightly stated that he was a businessman and that the 500k came from a business he ended with a long time customer. NB: I am not saying that "GRACE" doesn't exist, MBA (NO)! Grace does exist, but this thing will jump and scream grace are mostly results of PREPARATIONS, HARDWORK, STUDIES, INVESTMENTS etc If you do your path, God will do his own by crowning your efforts with success, then the rest of us will jump and shout GRACE! This remains subject to scripturally based corrections. Speaking In Songs 3.0 is coming this Sunday 6th November 2022! Brace up! Shalom 🙏 #KingOnyedikachi

BELIEVES COME HOME 0.3

The simple truth about what we represent as BELIEVERS Is that CHRIST duplicated himself in each of us and we therefore are to exhibit the character of he who has worn us as clothes. If our lives don’t look like Christ’s, then we’ve missed the nature of the call. What then is the character that we’re to showcase? It is the character of Jesus, leaving his throne to die as a criminal in our place. LOVE! LOVE!! LOVE!!! I will be revealing a mystery of our calling as believers in this meeting tomorrow 1st February, 2023 at the ISSUES OF LIFE FORUM WhatsApp Group. Chat the number in the flyer to be part of this meeting. Christ is the model! Shalom #KingOnyedikachi King Onyedikachi - Page
